Karen Barone has been given the prestigious honor of being chosen by the Art Museum Council of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), for their first "Special Project" of the new millennium. Karen Barone's ceramics have found their way into many respected collections. Her plates have been seen on a Seinfeld episode and featured in the New York Times. She creates her ceramics in pure and resonant colors that are exhibited on walls and artistic and creative tables of collectors and art enthusiasts throughout the world.
